Eric Ernstrom: Head Professional

Eric Ernstrom has over twenty years of experience as a Tennis Professional including ten years experienc as a Director of Tennis operations. He has extensive experience in every aspect of tennis coaching, including coaching beginner groups to advanced college level players, ladies teams, and junior programs. Eric is USPTA certified with a Professional 1 rating who has published several tennis related articles including national publications. He was the USPTA Florida division Player of the Year for 2006, was the winner of the USTA national Silver ball three times and was nationally ranked top ten for 2006.

Head Tennis Professional, The Harrison Academy of Tennis Melbourne, Florida

He coached elite junior players with a comprehensive program implementing all facets of stroke development, player design, addressing the inner tennis component of match play, establishing realistic goals with their parents, and assisting with tournament selection and training goals.

Director of Tennis, The Castine Golf Club Castine, Maine

Eric managed the Tennis Program to include staff supervision, court maintenance, club event planning, junior tennis program and implementing innovative clinic opportunities for older junior

contingent, adult tennis programming to include ladies clinics, and team practices, men’s clinics, round robin mixers, and pro shop merchandising.

Eric mplemented the successful operation of all tennis programs, staff management, pro shop merchandising, court maintenance, club events, and directed meetings to brainstorm new program ideas for new players participation.
